Development power generation and hydrogen production of Reversible Solid Oxide Fuel Cell
Due to climate change and greenhouse effect, governments around the world have to put great effort to promote energy policies. Reversible solid oxide cells (rSOCs) is combined with solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid-oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) which can dynamic and reversible operating between power generation and energy store. According to the needs of back-end users, the system can be flexibly switched in terms of power demand and economic products. Our team has put a lot effort in the development of key components for a long time, include: solid electrolytes with high conductivity, low impedance composite cathodes, anti-carbon deposition anodes material and preparation of large area fuel cells by single co-firing technology. In the future, through the market layout and international influence of the cooperative enterprises, the rSOCs system with forward-looking hydrogen production/power generation bifunction developed by this project will be promoted to the world.
