Since 2018, the Taiwan Innotech Expo has undergone a transformation with the goal of positioning Taiwan as an "International R&D Trading Hub Platform" (IP HUB). To achieve this, the expo aims to leverage Taiwan's R&D strengths and geographical advantages to serve as a technology bridge between the New Southbound countries, Europe, the United States, Japan, and other nations.
The expo showcases the latest innovative technologies and products from both domestic and international markets and promotes industrial upgrading, transformation, and international collaboration. Exhibition areas include the theme pavilions of Innovation Pilot, Future Tech and Sustainability, and the Invention Area, expecting to attract numerous companies and academic institutions to explore various technologies such as semiconductors, green energy, cybersecurity, space technology, AI, and 5G.
Moreover, Taiwan Innotech Expo serves as an important platform for technology trading, allowing companies and academic institutions to facilitate technology transfer and cooperation through technology exchanges and business negotiations while promoting the commercialization of innovative technology achievements.
