Circular Materials Verification and Matchmaking (CMVM) Platform utilizes innovative technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and blockchain to comprehensively record information regarding the quality and flow of recycled materials. This ensures a safer and more transparent environmental distribution of resource recycling products, further reducing reliance on primary raw materials. This technology has also been recognized as a finalist for the 2022 R&D 100 Awards.
Circular Materials Verification and Matchmaking (CMVM) Platform integrates long-lasting circular pavement design and verification mechanisms. By combining steel aggregates (from the steel industry) and reclaimed materials, it can replace up to 80% of the usage of natural sand and gravel. These pavements offer both flexibility and rigidity, and they have already been demonstrated in applications such as the Formosa Plastics Corporation Renwu Plant and Kaohsiung Intercontinental Container Terminal. Field tests have shown that the durability of these pavements can increase by more than 5 times compared to traditional methods, resulting in a reduction of over 70% in carbon emissions. This approach delivers economic, environmental, and carbon reduction benefits.
